Gojo Satoru, the biggest and strongest sorcerer in the series, bites the dust in Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Chapter 236. The chapter starts with a flashback describing the philosophies and goals of Gojo and Geto. It closes on Gojo’s muse that he’s dead and in the afterlife. His dead friend, Geto, then greets him.
The chapter ends up returning here, where Sukuna is talking to the other sorcerers about how he managed to defeat Gojo. It turns out that he was able to pass Gojo’s Infinity technique using Mahoraga, a cursed spirit that changes anything you try to do with it. The advent of Infinity meant that Sukuna could kill Gojo. Yes, Gojo was already dead with Infinity negated.
The chapter closes with Gojo accepting his defeat and expressing whatever it is he wishes he’d been able to achieve before he succumbed to Sukuna. Then he vanishes, and the other sorcerers have to live with the fact that he’s dead.
